Returns Process

We want to make your return process as hassle-free as possible. To ensure a smooth return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original, undamaged packaging.
  • Ensure the correct item is returned in its original packaging.
  • Include your proof of purchase with the returned item.
  • Return all parts and accessories that came with the item.
  • The return must reach us within the specified time frame.
  • The item must not be classified as non-returnable.

Return Timeframe

If we deliver the incorrect item, your item arrives damaged, or it’s missing parts, you must return it within 14 days of delivery.

Planning Your Return

Package your return properly to prevent any further damage during transit.

Start by logging a return request on your account—you’ll receive further instructions from us. 

The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories and parts included. Do not attempt to repair the item before returning it, as this will void the return. If any product warranty seals are broken, we won’t be able to accept the return.

Incorrect Item, Damaged on Delivery, or Missing Parts

If you receive:

  • The wrong item
  • A damaged item
  • An item with missing parts

You must return it within 14 days.

We’ll either replace the item, credit your ANT Home Improvement account, or process a refund. If we don’t have replacement stock available, we’ll credit your ANT Home Improvement account instead.

An item won’t be considered “damaged on delivery” if:

  • It was damaged after delivery.
  • It was affected by electrical surges or load shedding.
  • It was used for a purpose other than what it was designed for.
  • Any warranty seals were broken, or the item was tampered with.

Defective Items

You must return defective items within 14 days of delivery.

Once we receive the item, we’ll inspect it. If we accept the return, you can choose to have it replaced, credited to your ANT Home Improvement account, or refunded. However, if we don’t have replacement stock available, a credit will be issued instead.

We cannot accept returns for defective items if:

  • The defect is due to normal wear and tear.
  • The item was damaged due to negligence or misuse.
  • It was damaged by power surges, load shedding, rust, or water damage.
  • The item has been installed or built into a permanent structure.
  • The item was modified in any way, including markings, writing, or broken warranty seals.
  • The item is working as described, but you were using it incorrectly.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products are marked as non-returnable on the product description page. However, if we delivered the wrong item, it arrived damaged, or it’s defective, we’ll make an exception.

Some common non-returnable items include:

For health and safety reasons:

  • Sanitaryware
  • Plumbing items
  • Cleaning products and tools

If installed into a structure and removed:

  • Flooring, cladding and panelling that has been glued, nailed, screwed down or cut

If it’s customised for you:

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Any item that has been modified, written on, or marked in any way

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method within 14 days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank—please check with your bank or credit card provider for EFT or card refund timelines.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items can be refunded. Discounted sale items are considered final and cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged on delivery. If you need an exchange for the same item, email us at sales.antdecor@gmail.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and delivered directly to you, we’ll issue a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, we’ll credit your ANT Home Improvement account.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or if the person who gifted it had it shipped to themselves first, we’ll process the refund to the original purchaser.
